You do not need an adult-yoga teaching qualification to take the Cosmic Kids foundation course. People from all walks of life have taken and completed our course, from homeschoolers and preschool teachers (with no yoga experience), through to adult yoga teachers who want to offer classes for children.
What you need #
You need internet access for the streamed lessons, an email address, time to practise, and a device that can play video. Downloadable PDFs can be saved for study.
Helpful experience #
Personal experience of yoga and experience working with children are useful, but the course is designed to explain the Cosmic Kids method from the beginning – so please don’t worry if you don’t have one or both of these.
Professional teaching #
Before teaching professionally, check the insurance, safeguarding, background-check, venue and qualification requirements that apply where you live and work.
