Full Cosmic Kids certification is earned by completing the training and passing a practical teaching-video appraisal.

1. Complete the course #

Work through the lessons, quizzes, worksheets and recommended practice in Getting Started in Kids Yoga. The course teaches the story, postures, class structure, pacing, performance and safety criteria used in the appraisal.

2. Practice the supplied class #

The course provides the script and coaching for a proven Cosmic Kids Yoga Adventure. The course provides the Squish the Fish class plan and coaching for the appraisal. Check the Certification module for the full submission instructions.

3. Record and submit your teaching #

Record yourself teaching the class and upload the video privately using the link in the Certification module. A phone is fine as long as the assessor can see and hear you clearly. If children are included, obtain the appropriate consent and follow safeguarding and privacy requirements.

4. Receive personal feedback #

Jaime reviews the teaching video and provides supportive one-to-one feedback. The assessment considers yoga instruction, pacing, language, storytelling, performance, engagement and safety.

5. Receive your certificate #

If you meet the required standard, you receive your personalised Cosmic Kids certificate. You can use it as evidence of your training when speaking with schools, venues and insurers. If changes are needed, use the feedback and follow the resubmission guidance in the Campus.
